Skip The Line: Terms of Service, Privacy Policy & Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
These Terms of Service, this Privacy Policy, and this Cookie Policy (together, this “Agreement”) govern your access to and use of the websites, mobile-ordering storefronts, point-of-sale tools, fulfillment applications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”) operated by Skip The Line, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Skip The Line,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Please read this Agreement carefully. By accessing or using the Platform, placing an order, or creating an account, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
HOW TO READ THIS DOCUMENT: TWO KINDS OF USERS
The Platform serves two different kinds of users, and parts of this Agreement apply differently to each:
Customers (“Buyers” or “you” as a buyer) are individuals who browse, order, purchase, or pick up merchandise through a storefront powered by Skip The Line, whether on their own mobile device (mobile ordering) or at a staffed merchandise point of sale (POS).
Clients (“Sellers”) are the artists, merchandise companies, tours, promoters, venues, and other businesses that use the Platform to sell their merchandise to Buyers. Clients are the sellers and merchants of record for the merchandise offered through their storefronts.
Where a section applies only to one group, it is labeled [For Buyers] or [For Clients/Sellers]. Sections that are not labeled apply to everyone.
Important relationship point. Skip The Line provides the technology that powers merchandise sales. Except where we expressly state otherwise, the Client, not Skip The Line, is the seller of the merchandise offered through a storefront. The Client sets its own products, prices, availability, and refund practices, and receives the sales proceeds. Skip The Line facilitates the transaction, processes payment through our payment processor, and provides fulfillment and inventory tools.
PART I: TERMS OF SERVICE
1. Definitions
- “Platform” means the Skip The Line websites (including skiptheline.store and app.skiptheline.store), mobile-optimized storefronts, QR-code and URL-based ordering experiences, the point-of-sale system, the inventory-management engine, the staff fulfillment applications, and all related software and services.
- “Storefront” means a Client-branded digital or in-person merchandise store hosted or enabled by the Platform.
- “Client” or “Seller” means a business that has contracted with Skip The Line to sell merchandise through the Platform.
- “Buyer” or “Customer” means an individual who purchases or seeks to purchase merchandise through a Storefront.
- “Merchandise” means the goods and products offered for sale by a Client through a Storefront.
- “Order Fee” or “Transaction Fee” means the per-transaction fee charged in connection with sales processed through the Platform, as further described in Section 6.
- “Stripe” means Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates, our third-party payment processor.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
[For Buyers] You do not need to create an account to place most mobile orders. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to use the Platform. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the Platform only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
[For Clients/Sellers] Client access to the Platform requires a separate written services agreement between the Client and Skip The Line (a “Client Agreement”). Client accounts and administrative access are provisioned by Skip The Line. Clients are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials, for all activity that occurs under their accounts, and for ensuring that their staff and contractors comply with this Agreement. If a conflict exists between this Agreement and a signed Client Agreement, the Client Agreement controls as to that Client.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. We may suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or that are used in violation of this Agreement.
3. The Platform and How It Works
The Platform enables Buyers to browse and purchase Merchandise from a Client’s Storefront using their own mobile device or at a staffed POS, and enables Clients and their staff to fulfill those orders and manage inventory in real time. Features may include mobile ordering by URL or QR code with no app download required for Buyers, in-person POS checkout, real-time declining-inventory tracking across events, automated order-status and pickup notifications by text message (SMS), and staff fulfillment applications available on iOS and Android.
We may add, change, suspend, or remove features of the Platform at any time. We do not guarantee that the Platform will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
4. Orders, Pricing, and Pickup [For Buyers]
Seller of record. When you place an order through a Storefront, you are buying Merchandise from the Client that operates that Storefront. The Client sets the products, descriptions, images, prices, and available quantities. Skip The Line does not own the Merchandise and does not set its price.
Placing an order. When you submit an order, you authorize the charge described at checkout, including the Merchandise price, any applicable taxes, tips (if offered), and any fees presented to you. You are responsible for providing accurate contact information, including a mobile number if you wish to receive SMS pickup notifications.
Confirmation and pickup. Completed orders are assigned a confirmation number. For pickup orders, you may be required to present your confirmation number, and you are responsible for picking up your Merchandise at the designated location during the event or pickup window. Unclaimed Merchandise may be handled according to the Client’s policies.
Pricing errors and availability. Merchandise is subject to availability and may sell out, including in real time as inventory reaches zero. Prices and availability may change. In the event of an obvious pricing or description error, the Client or Skip The Line may cancel the affected order and issue a refund.
5. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges [For Buyers]
Because the Client is the seller of record, the Client’s return, refund, exchange, and cancellation policies apply to your purchase. Many live-event merchandise sales are final. If you have a problem with an order, an incorrect or defective item, or a pickup issue, contact the Client or the merchandise staff at the event where possible. Skip The Line can assist with processing an approved refund back to your original payment method through Stripe, but the decision to grant a refund or exchange rests with the Client except where required by applicable law. Refunds are returned to the original payment method and timing is subject to Stripe and your card issuer.
6. Payments, Fees, and Payment Processing
Payment processing through Stripe. All card payments are processed by Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe’s applicable terms and authorize Skip The Line and Stripe to charge your selected payment method. Skip The Line does not store full payment card numbers; card data is handled by Stripe.
[For Buyers] The total shown at checkout is the amount you authorize. Any Order Fee that applies to your transaction will be presented to you before you complete your purchase.
[For Clients/Sellers] Skip The Line’s compensation is a Transaction Fee applied to sales processed through the Platform, as set out in your Client Agreement. Merchandise revenue, applicable sales tax collected from Buyers, and any tips are routed to the Client’s connected Stripe account at the time of each transaction, and the Client controls payouts from that account. The Client is responsible for determining, collecting, and remitting applicable sales and use taxes on its Merchandise. Skip The Line is not the merchant of record for the Merchandise and does not assume the Client’s tax obligations.
7. Client Obligations [For Clients/Sellers]
As a condition of using the Platform, each Client represents, warrants, and agrees that:
- it has all rights necessary to sell the Merchandise and to use the names, logos, trademarks, images, and other content it uploads to its Storefront, and that such content does not infringe or violate the rights of any third party;
- its Merchandise and its sale comply with all applicable laws, and it will not offer counterfeit, unlawful, unsafe, or prohibited goods;
- it will set accurate product descriptions, prices, and inventory, and will honor the orders placed through its Storefront;
- it is solely responsible for its own tax determination, collection, and remittance, for its refund and fulfillment practices, and for its relationship with its Buyers;
- it will maintain a valid Stripe connected account in good standing and comply with Stripe’s requirements; and
- it will comply with all applicable privacy and marketing laws in its handling of Buyer information it receives through the Platform, including obtaining any required consents before sending marketing communications.
Clients agree to indemnify Skip The Line as described in Section 14 for claims arising from their Merchandise, their content, their tax handling, or their communications with Buyers.
8. Text Messages (SMS)
If you provide a mobile number and opt in, you may receive transactional text messages such as order confirmations and pickup-ready notifications, and, where you have consented, other messages from the Client or Skip The Line. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of non-essential messages at any time by replying STOP to a message; you may still receive messages necessary to complete a pending transaction. SMS is delivered through third-party providers.
9. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of this Agreement;
- purchase or attempt to purchase Merchandise for unlawful resale, fraud, or circumvention of quantity limits;
- interfere with, disrupt, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, its servers, or other users’ accounts or data;
- upload or transmit viruses, malicious code, or any material that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or harmful;
- use any robot, scraper, or automated means to access or collect data from the Platform without our permission;
- misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity; or
- use the Platform to infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
We may investigate and take appropriate action, including removing content, suspending or terminating access, and cooperating with law enforcement.
10. Intellectual Property
Skip The Line property. The Platform, including its software, design, features, and the Skip The Line names and logos, is owned by Skip The Line or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in this Agreement, no rights in the Platform are transferred to you.
Client content. Merchandise names, images, artist and brand marks, and other content displayed in a Storefront belong to the applicable Client or its licensors. Skip The Line displays that content on the Client’s behalf.
Your feedback. If you send us suggestions or feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use it without restriction or compensation.
11. User Content and Submissions
If the Platform allows you to submit content (for example, reviews, messages, or images), you retain ownership of your content but grant Skip The Line and the applicable Client a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, display, and reproduce that content in connection with operating the Platform and the Storefront. You are responsible for your content and represent that you have the rights to submit it and that it does not violate this Agreement or any law.
12. Third-Party Services and Links
The Platform relies on and may link to third-party services, including Stripe for payments and SMS providers for messaging, and may link to Client or other third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party services or their content, terms, or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that party’s terms.
13. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM AND ALL MERCHANDISE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SKIP THE LINE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. SKIP THE LINE IS NOT THE SELLER OF THE MERCHANDISE AND MAKES NO WARRANTY REGARDING ANY MERCHANDISE, WHICH IS SOLD BY THE APPLICABLE CLIENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
14. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
Limitation of liability. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SKIP THE LINE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR ANY MERCHANDISE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SKIP THE LINE’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR THE PLATFORM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL FEES SKIP THE LINE RETAINED FROM THE TRANSACTION(S) GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
Indemnification. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Skip The Line and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of the Platform, (b) your violation of this Agreement or any law, (c) for Clients, your Merchandise, content, tax handling, refund practices, or communications with Buyers, and (d) your violation of the rights of any third party.
15. Term, Termination, and Suspension
This Agreement applies while you use the Platform. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for any conduct that we believe violates this Agreement or is harmful to other users, the Clients, Skip The Line, or third parties. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual-property, disclaimer, limitation-of-liability, indemnification, governing-law, and dispute-resolution provisions.
16. Modifications and Interruptions
We may change this Agreement at any time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be effective when posted. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Platform at any time without liability.
17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Governing law. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and by applicable U.S. federal law.
Informal resolution. Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us at info@skiptheline.store and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days.
Venue. Except where prohibited by law, you agree that any dispute not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Nothing in this section limits either party’s right to seek injunctive relief for intellectual-property or unauthorized-access claims.
18. Electronic Communications, Transactions, and Signatures
By using the Platform, you consent to receive communications from us electronically, including by email, SMS, and on-Platform notices, and you agree that electronic communications, agreements, and records satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. You consent to the electronic delivery of notices, policies, and records of transactions.
19. Corrections and Miscellaneous
The Platform may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies, which we may correct at any time. If any provision of this Agreement is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under this Agreement without our consent; we may assign ours. This Agreement, together with any applicable Client Agreement and any policies posted on the Platform, is the entire agreement between you and Skip The Line regarding the Platform.
PART II: PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy explains how Skip The Line, Inc. collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information in connection with the Platform. It applies to Buyers, Clients, and visitors to our websites.
1. Our Two Roles: Controller and Service Provider
Skip The Line handles personal information in two capacities:
As a business/controller. For our own websites, marketing, Client relationships, and the operation of the Platform, Skip The Line decides how and why personal information is processed, and this Privacy Policy governs that processing.
As a service provider/processor for Clients. When you buy from a Client’s Storefront, Skip The Line processes your information to complete that sale on behalf of the Client. The Client also receives certain information about your purchase (see Section 4) and uses it under the Client’s own privacy practices. The Client is independently responsible for its own use of your information, including any marketing it sends you. If you have questions about how a specific Client uses your information, contact that Client directly.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide as a Buyer. Your name and email address; your mobile phone number if you provide one for SMS notifications; your order and purchase details; tips (if offered); and any messages or content you submit. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe; Skip The Line does not receive or store your full card number.
Information Clients provide. Business contact details, account and administrative-user information, storefront and product content, and banking or payout information handled through Stripe.
Information collected automatically. When you use our websites or a Storefront, we and our providers may collect device and usage information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and interactions, using cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).
Information from third parties. We may receive information from Stripe (such as payment confirmation and fraud signals), from SMS providers, and from analytics and security providers.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- process and fulfill orders, including payment, confirmations, pickup notifications, refunds, and inventory management;
- operate, secure, support, and improve the Platform, including fraud prevention and troubleshooting;
- provide Clients with the reporting, fulfillment, and customer-data tools described in their Client Agreement;
- communicate with you about transactions and, where permitted, about the Platform;
- comply with legal, tax, accounting, and payment-card obligations; and
- enforce our terms and protect the rights, safety, and property of Skip The Line, our users, and the public.
We use aggregated and de-identified data (which does not identify you) to analyze, benchmark, and improve the Platform and our services.
4. How We Share Information
We share personal information as follows:
- With the applicable Client. For each order, the buyer’s name, email address, and transaction details are made available to the Client that operates the Storefront, so the Client can fulfill the order, provide support, manage its business, and, subject to applicable law and your rights, conduct future marketing. This means that when you buy from a Client’s Storefront, that Client receives your name, email, and purchase information.
- With Stripe. To process payments, prevent fraud, and manage payouts to Clients.
- With service providers. Such as SMS/messaging, hosting, analytics, and security vendors that process information on our behalf under contract.
- For legal reasons. To comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our terms, or protect rights, safety, and property.
- In a business transfer. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Because we share buyer contact information with Clients for the Client’s own potential marketing use, that sharing may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under certain state privacy laws, including California’s. See Section 8 for your rights and how to opt out.
5. Text Messaging (SMS)
If you opt in to SMS, we use your mobile number to send transactional messages (such as order and pickup notifications) and, where you consent, other messages. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchase. You can opt out of non-essential messages by replying STOP. SMS is delivered through third-party providers, and message and data rates may apply.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the websites and Storefronts, remember your session and cart, measure performance, and understand usage. For a full description of the cookies we use, the categories they fall into, and how to control them, see Part III (Cookie Policy) below. Where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control) for browser-based sales and sharing opt-outs.
7. Data Retention and Security
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Platform, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, and meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements, after which we delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Privacy Rights
All users. You may contact us to access, update, or request deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of non-essential marketing communications. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know/access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it;
- Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to exceptions;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, including the sharing of your contact information with Clients for their marketing; and
- Limit use of sensitive personal information (note: we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require a limitation right).
We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Consistent with applicable law, we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of a consumer we know to be under sixteen (16) years of age. In the prior twelve (12) months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (such as name, email, phone, IP address), commercial information (purchase and transaction records), internet/network activity (usage and device data), and, for Clients, financial account information handled through Stripe. We collect this information from you, from your use of the Platform, and from our providers, and we share it for the business purposes described in Sections 3 and 4.
How to exercise your rights. Submit a request to info@skiptheline.store or by mail to the address in Section 12. You may use an authorized agent, and we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. To opt out of sale/sharing, email us with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information,” or use a recognized browser opt-out signal.
Client-held data. Because Clients independently receive and use your purchase information, requests about a Client’s use of your data (including marketing you receive from a Client) should be directed to that Client. We will assist Clients in responding to such requests as required by law and their Client Agreement.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Platform is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
The Platform may link to Client sites and other third-party services with their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for those practices. Please review the privacy policies of any third party you interact with.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date, and material changes will be effective when posted. Your continued use of the Platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
12. Contact Us
Questions, requests, or privacy-rights inquiries can be directed to:
Skip The Line, Inc. Attn: Privacy 114 North Cedar Ave, Ste 101 Cookeville, TN 38501 Email: info@skiptheline.store
PART III: COOKIE POLICY
This Cookie Policy explains how Skip The Line, Inc. and our providers use cookies and similar technologies on our websites and Storefronts. It forms part of, and should be read together with, the Privacy Policy above.
1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use related technologies such as pixels, tags, software development kits (SDKs), and local storage. In this Policy, “cookies” refers to all of these. Cookies may be “session” cookies, which expire when you close your browser, or “persistent” cookies, which remain until they expire or you delete them, and they may be set by us (“first-party”) or by a third-party service we use (“third-party”).
2. Why We Use Cookies
We use cookies to operate and secure our websites and Storefronts, remember your session and shopping cart, process payments, prevent fraud, measure and improve performance, and understand how the Platform is used.
3. Cookies We Use
The categories below describe the types of cookies used on the Platform. Based on a review of our websites in October 2026, no advertising, social-media or analytics cookies are in use anywhere on the Platform. The cookies that remain are listed in the table that follows, and all of them are set on the Storefronts and checkout rather than on our marketing site. Because cookies can change when we update the site or the tools we use, this list may not always be exhaustive.
- Strictly necessary: required for the site, checkout, and security to function; these cannot be switched off.
- Functional: remember choices and preferences to improve your experience.
- Performance: support security and functionality (for example, embeds) without being essential to use.
- Analytics: help us understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it.
- Advertising and targeting: used to deliver or measure advertising across sites. None are currently in use; if this changes, we will update this Policy and provide any required choices.
| Cookie | Provider | Category | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
m |
Stripe | Strictly necessary | Maintains the Stripe payment session so checkout works securely. |
__cf_bm |
Cloudflare | Strictly necessary | Bot-management and security cookie set on the Storefront domains, which are served through Cloudflare. It is not set on our marketing site. |
_cfuvid |
Cloudflare | Performance | Helps identify trusted web traffic on the Storefront domains and maintain a secure, performant session. It is not set on our marketing site. |
In addition, when you shop through a Storefront or check out, our payment processor Stripe sets cookies necessary to process your payment and help prevent fraud.
4. Third-Party Cookies and Services
Our marketing site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking services. It is a static site hosted by Vercel. The only third party it contacts is Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces used in the design; Google receives the request for those font files, including your IP address, but no cookie is set by us or by Google Fonts. Demo bookings are handled by our own software on our own domain, and our forms are protected by a hidden form field rather than a bot-detection service, so neither sets a cookie.
Cookies described in the table above are set on our Storefronts and checkout, not on the marketing site. These come from Cloudflare (security and content delivery) and Stripe (payment processing and fraud prevention), each under its own privacy and cookie practices. We do not control these third parties’ cookies; please review their policies for details.
5. How to Manage or Disable Cookies
You can control cookies in several ways:
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and warn you before they are set. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site, including checkout, from working.
- Opt-out preference signals. Where required by law, we honor recognized browser signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) as a request to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information.
- Do Not Sell or Share. To exercise your California opt-out rights, see “Your Privacy Rights” in the Privacy Policy above, or email info@skiptheline.store with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.”
6. Changes and Contact
We may update this Cookie Policy as our technology or the law changes, and the “Last updated” date above will reflect any changes. Questions can be sent to info@skiptheline.store or to the mailing address in the Contact section above.
